A prescription medicine containing levomethadone hydrochloride, the active R-enantiomer of methadone, indicated for opioid substitution therapy in adults with opioid dependence. Treatment should be provided in combination with medical, psychological, and social support. Levopidon® is available as an oral solution in single doses ranging from 5 mg to 75 mg (Norway, Sweden, and Finland) and as tablets in strengths of 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 30 mg (Norway and Denmark).
